ourWorld Trading Forums: Rules and Guidelines
ourWorld Trade Forum is a place where members of ourWorld can chat among one another without the worry of the horrendous filter, but just like ourWorld, we have some rules and guidelines that we expect every member to carefully read and abide by.
Please note that administrators/moderators hold the right to edit/delete/change any content if they feel it is inappropriate and/or against the rules.
The rules are subject to be changed in the future, please check back regularly.
General Forum Rules
- Do not disrespect other members or staff
- Do not spam. (This includes bumping repetitively, going off-topic, posting in the wrong forums, etc.)
- Do not post or publicly share private messages. Keep those private.
- Do not post any pornographic links or material.
- ourWorld Trade Forums is for the game, obviously, ourWorld. This means our users could be young. Please be aware of this and do not curse publicly.
- Do not publicly argue with a moderator. If you feel a moderator has personally attacked or done you wrong, contact an administrator about it!
These topics are off limits, including external links
- Pornography, anything NSFW.
- Warez, piracy, or leaked content. (This will result in a permanent ban on the spot.)
- Cheating, hacking, and/or game exploits
- Copyrighted material
- Racism, discrimination
- Threats of violence or harassment. (We don't care if it was a joke. Don't do it.)
- Alcohol or drugs
- Religious, political, or any other topics that are controversial. (Yes, this includes the LGBT+ community.)
Backseat Moderating
As moderators, and admins, it is extremely frustrating when a user takes it upon themselves to try and do our jobs. We were chosen for the position for a reason and we definitely know how to do it!
Please do not inform a user they have broken the rules in a rude way. You can politely say, "Oops, you posted this in the wrong forum!" but that's all. Please report it so we can properly handle it!
DON'T TRY TO HANDLE AN ARGUMENT. This will get you in trouble. We will consider you apart of it as a whole, and your punishment will be the same as theirs!
